CHOOSE YOUR NEXT CHECK
Give your market the atmosphere you want.
Choose between changing the view and changing the objects in it. Daytime, grass theme and the shop grid answer interface questions; a Torii, lantern or bench has its own placement context. Neither route substitutes for a functioning entrance or matching production.
Start with the effect you want
- The grass changes when you expected daytime: check the documented wrong-label branch in the toolbar guide.
- You want to hide the building grid: look inside the shop’s top-right area, separately from the library book.
- A Torii or lamp sits in water: the developer allows some decorative water placement; check the object type before treating it as broken.
- A photo button is locked: Photo Mode was described for the full game and locked in the Demo. Decoration is not a documented unlock condition.
Which button changes the scene?
A contextual icon/function reference: time, grass, screenshot, speed and library, with the Demo boundaries in view.

Separate decorative freedom from road-facing entrance requirements, then check the grid and tool mode before deleting objects.

- Check the functional route first. Use the road-facing entrance checks. A decorative Torii in the Decorations shop is not evidence that spirits have an arrival route.
- Choose the right context. Use the closed-market building toolbar for objects; use the appropriate scene control for daytime or grass. Read Open/Close Market to identify which phase you are in.
- Work on one small area. Compare the view after a change before adding more objects. This is a practical way to keep track of your edits, not an optimal beauty or appeal formula.
- Leave the deletion tool before continuing. The last bottom-toolbar button removes objects. The controls guide covers safe mode selection and the Demo/full-game Undo boundary.
Which controls have evidence?
| Supported explanation | Do not assume from it |
|---|---|
| Daytime and grass-theme functions; known grass-label mistake | Automatic seasons, exact sky cycle or a full color-grading slider. |
| Grid hide/show in the shop | All road, space and entrance conditions can be disabled. |
| Some Torii/lights intentionally allowed in water | Every building is functional in any water location. |
| Photo Mode described for the full game | A hidden Demo unlock, export folder or verified photo workflow. |
If the selected object will not turn, use R rotation and the tool checks. If you are deciding what to build toward, compare creative and management goals. For a selling problem, move to Production & stalls.
