OBORO NO ICHI · INDEPENDENT GUIDE

Where the advice comes from.

These guides focus on the PC Demo and its platform/version decisions, using dated developer explanations, identified player reports and Demo footage. Current listings and source availability were checked November 3, 2026.

Demo and Early Access are different versions

The Demo store currently offers the free Windows Demo, released September 23, with limited buildings, decorations and progression. The parent game store lists Windows and macOS and Early Access for November 9. Its Mac minimum requires Apple M1; this is not proof that the separate Demo has a native Mac download or that the parent has already launched.

Find the build number at the bottom-right of the initial splash screen, the location given by the developer. A published video’s date is not its exact build number.

Building and production answers

Feedback links point to the relevant public pagination and comment anchors. The anonymous view has fewer replies per page than the logged-in view, so a page number alone is not a reliable comment identifier.

Platform, input and visitor evidence

Interface, upgrades and player goals

The original Reddit icon/book question and developer reply identify toolbar functions and the library. The developer introduction and visible port questions establish actual Switch2/console/mobile interest without a confirmed port answer. The spirit introduction explains the welcoming market-keeper role. These older development posts do not prove that every feature shipped to the current Demo.

November1 upgrade-level reply distinguishes added level numbers from suggested ornaments; Demo distribution remains unconfirmed. October3 feedback confirms the grass-label mistake and describes letters completing story books.

Video evidence

Selected frames of Pink Alpaca Plays’ September24 Demo video show Select mode and the tutorial at3:30/3:50, the Resource/Selling/Upgrade panel at4:10, decorative Torii at4:50 and later open-market controls. This was a targeted visual review, not the whole recording, a measured income test or our own gameplay. The new chapter player preserves the creator credit and original-platform thumbnail.

Tokyo Reload’s September 23 Demo video supplies the Workshop resource choices at 4:26 and adjacent transcript explanation. Selected transcript sections and frames were reviewed, rather than the whole video as a complete successful playthrough. Its entrance issue remains unresolved late in the recording.

TheLaba’s official trailer illustrates the game’s setting. Promotional footage is not used to prove exact Demo mechanics. Videos use YouTube’s player only after you choose to play.

Winter Hevn's October 3 Demo recording was checked at selected frames: Play freely/Start tutorial, camera gestures at 0:54/0:58/1:02 and the opening production preview at 25:53. These are actual visual observations, without a complete playthrough or measured production claim.

Krista's October 20 first-hand Demo preview describes free building and its limited content. Individual Steam reviews supply the dated Select/Shop, path-placement and partial Deck-playability branches; they remain anecdotes rather than our tests. The Demo build list is kept separate from database record updates.

Official game screenshots are from TheLaba’s Steam store. They provide visual context and remain credited to TheLaba. A store scene is not a measured placement map, a verified Demo layout or our own gameplay capture.

What remains outside these guides

No complete story or minigame walkthrough, all-unlocks route, exact recipes, production rates, economic optimum or controller-key chart is supplied. Version-sensitive changes need a new source before advice is updated.
