Know what the Early Access date means.
Oboro no Ichi is planned to enter Steam Early Access on November 9, 2026. The reviewed store still says it is not yet available. SteamDB lists an 18:00 UTC unlock reference, equivalent to 10:00 AM in Los Angeles on that date. Treat that as a schedule to recheck, rather than a guaranteed launch time. The separate free Windows Demo is available now.
Checked November 3, 2026. Store and SteamDB checked November 3, Los Angeles time. The developer’s descriptions below concern the upcoming Early Access game; they are not claims that we have played that release. These are sourced instructions and decisions, not our own gameplay test.

The planned date is an Early Access start
The official Steam page lists November 9 and labels the game as coming soon to Early Access. That is different from a finished 1.0 release. If the purchase button is absent before launch, that matches the reviewed upcoming status; it does not mean you should search for a different app or unofficial download.
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|

| Is November 9 a console/mobile release date? | No such date is established by these sources. Use the platform-status guide. |
Core experience versus planned additions
In the Steam Early Access FAQ, TheLaba describes the core building, management and resource-selling loop as playable in the development version: connecting structures, supplying stalls and welcoming spirits. This is the developer’s statement of intended launch scope, not a guarantee that every bug or later feature is resolved.
The FAQ lists further spirit interactions, expanded customization, more items and structures, and deeper events or market-hour dynamics as planned additions. Keep those future additions separate from what a released build actually offers. A wider collection than the Demo does not establish every story chapter, minigame or unlock route.
If your main question is what you do in the game, the management, creative and story overview explains those goals. For a practical starting route in the available Demo, use your first market.
How long is Early Access, and what about price?
The developer estimates roughly 6–12 months in Early Access and says the timeline can change with feedback and development. That is an estimate, not an announced calendar date for 1.0.
The same FAQ says the game will be discounted during Early Access. The reviewed upcoming page does not provide an exact purchase amount. Check the real Steam price for your region when it becomes purchasable; a discount statement alone does not establish a price, launch-sale percentage or future increase.
If you want to decide whether the available building style suits you first, the Demo is the supported current sample. It has limited buildings, decorations and progression, so it also cannot prove how much content the future full release will contain.
Check the product and version at launch
- Use the official parent app 4559930 for Early Access information, and app 5271720 for the separate Demo.
- Read the current store date, availability and price rather than an old social countdown.
- Check the actual platform entry. The parent lists Windows and macOS; the current Demo is Windows-only. The Mac guide distinguishes those products and hardware limits.
- For a bug or feature claim, record the installed product/build. A fix described in the main development build does not establish an update to the Demo; use the version-check workflow.
If the date or scope changes, the latest official store/build information takes precedence over this dated snapshot. Keep a screenshot of the actual purchase or version information if you need to describe a discrepancy.
A release decision with the right expectations
You can distinguish a planned Early Access start from 1.0, separate stated core content from future additions, and find the actual current product/platform without inventing a price or port date.
