CHOOSE YOUR NEXT CHECK
Choose your version before you build.
Start with the product and platform you can actually use. The free Demo and upcoming parent game have different listings; a store’s Mac icon, a video of the game or a successful Proton launch answers only part of the compatibility question.
Choose by what is stopping you
- No Demo install button? Find the separate Demo app before troubleshooting Steam.
- Not sure your PC is suitable? Compare the published minimum and the reported market workload.
- Using a Mac? Separate the native upcoming game, Intel uncertainty and Windows-Demo-through-Wine behavior.
- Using Linux or Steam Deck? Check required tutorial input as well as whether the title screen opens.
Two starting points
Already installed? Follow the first-market route from roads and production to Select mode and opening. Still choosing a device? Start with Demo access and the platform checks below; the parent and child app do not share every platform listing.
For Switch, console or mobile questions, use the combined platform-status guide. It separates real player requests from confirmed listings instead of assigning an unannounced port the PC release date.

The upcoming parent is planned for Early Access, while the separate Demo can be tried now. The release guide distinguishes the date, developer-estimated duration, stated scope and pricing limits; the Demo guide handles installation and feature locks.
Your first-session checkpoints
| Phase | Useful result | If it fails |
|---|---|---|
| Access | The separate Windows Demo is installed. | Compare app5271720 with parent4559930 before diagnosing downloads. |
| Preparation | You can use the camera, place the entrance and identify producer/stall settings. | Use the specific building or input check. |
| Opening | You recognize Open Market versus Close Market and inspect supply/visitors separately. | Choose the appropriate market symptom. |
| Next goal | Choose an upgrade comparison, resource change or a small decoration project. | Distinguish a Demo limit from a blocked task. |
Once you are in the Demo
The official description introduces roads, resource buildings, stalls and decoration before opening the market. You do not need to learn a complete economy before solving the first obstacle: make the entrance face its road, distinguish placement tools from Delete, then match production with the stall’s resource.
Use Building & layout for the first layout checks, or Market & visitors once you are diagnosing stock or customer behavior. A locked Photo Mode feature is covered in the Demo guide; it is not a reason to delete a save or reinstall.
